WooCommerce is another familiar name and it is essentially a plug-in for WordPress. Wordpress is not a system we used because it’s often hacked, so updates are frequent and must be kept on top of. These updates take time to do and often brake parts of your site, so long term its a more expensive option for clients.
Whereas WooCommerce bills itself as a community solution, Magento is more geared towards companies. However, that doesn’t mean small businesses can’t benefit from Magento functionality too. By choosing a system that is scaleable, you are future proofing your online website business.
